My primary site server is in a new Active Directory domain. My secondary site server is in an NT 4.0 domain. Both are Win2K3 Servers.

Now - I know the primary SMS machine account needs to be in the SMS_SiteSystemToSiteServerConnection group of the secondary site server.

Question - How do I add the machine account from the AD domain to the server on the NT 4.0 domain? if possible...

Is there a way to work around it? use local user accounts instead of the machine accounts? Where do I configure?

thanks...

I've never worked with NT4 and SMS, but can't you just add the Primary Site machine ID, as a Local Administrator of the Seondary site machine, then it overcomes any problems of defining specific rights to the SSS, as its getting local admin privs.

Hope this Helps.
