I want to be able to add some shortcuts to the Send To Menu under file. Can anyone tell me how to do this? For instance I want to add a shortcut to a printer. The reason for this is we are on a network. I create documents for people in Word. When I create and print it on my printer it's fine. But when the customer prints from their's the document is messed up. So I have added the printers into Settings Printers. I have about 20 of them! And they have lovely names like P02378/l027891. I can't rename them as the netword won't let me but I can create shortcuts and rename the shortcuts to say for instance Bob's printer or Governors 5th floor printer. Much more recognisable.

Any help appreciated. Office 2000 and Windows 2000 Learn something new every day *:->*

Rather than the "Send To", why not add buttons to your tool bar (OK 20 might be a bit ugly, but it would work).

Create a macro for each printer, and "pretend" you are printing to them. Each macro will have a name such as "Bob's Printer" etc. Once the macro has been recorded, you can place them on your tool bar.

If thats too much, then place them under the chosen command function, such as "FILE", or "TOOLS" etc.

If you want more precise details of how to do this, let me know.

Thank you Hasit. I've done that. Not ideal but does the trick!
