Have some printers with static ip addresses, not"attached/shared" to any server. I can add them to a pc using their IP address, with the "add printer" applet, but is there a way to run a script or something similar to automate the install? The idea is to set a number of these ip printers on a cd and then walk around to the various pcs, click, wait and their installed.
I've looked into printui, for example and that requires the printer be connection to a server. Any ideas?
