Add-In Dilemma

Hello,
I have a few addins placed in Excel/xlstart directory. Normally, these addins are available when I start a new workbook or open an existing workbook. Mysteriously they do not show up when I open an existing workbook, only a new one. To my knowledge no changes were made to my setup. Is there an option that can be changed to only show add-ins for new workbooks?

Hi there,

Is there a running instance of Excel running when you do this? What I would try is disabling them all, then one-by-one adding them back on, closing and reopening Excel between every add, and seeing if you can nail down one of the add-ins for this process.
