I'm using Crystal XI and am trying to add a hyperlink to a cross-tab report (one link for each group by) and am having some difficulties -- I right clicked on the field and added the field to the "hyperlink" tab, but the same link is now appearing for each group, and not changing dynamically to reflect the actual group name as I would have expected.. Your suggested would be very appreciated. Thanks :)

I haven't tested this so I could be wrong, but I would try creating a formula that assigns the hyperlink "address" based on the field used for grouping (using an If/Then statement), and using that formula in the hyperlink field.

Cheers
Pete

Here is an example:

In format field->hyperlink type->check: website address. Then in hyperlink information->website address->x+2, enter:

if gridrowcolumnvalue("table.field")="ABC" then
" else
"
Replace "table.field" with your column field and replace the curly brackets with quotes as shown. If you also need to make it specific to the row, add another clause, again using gridrowcolumnvalu("table.rowfield"). Add additional "else" clauses for specific columns (e.g., "DEF") or cells.
