Add fiber 0x16 to MICS and 2 port exp to Flash 2

I have been ask to install a 0X16 fiber exp to a MICS and add a 2 port exp to a Flash 2.Are there any problems that any one can see using the existing DN( on the core unit ext 252) on the Flash and adding a DN from the exp modual?(Ext 316)
I have staggered my ext before but thay have always been on the main KSU.

no your good it doesn't make a difference if the exts. are staggered or not as long as it's a working digital port i have done this many times.

Thanks for the Quick reply.Another question:I have added fiber moduals before and not powered down the a KSU and every thing came up Ok,have you ever had any problem doing this.This is a Bank and I'll have to do it during the day and thay have no records of their programming.I guess it might be good to make record myself?

Also this is R1-T1 sofrware .I am concerned about the cap holding the program memory.

You can add the 0x16 without powering off the MICS. If you're concerned about the memory cap you should get a backup. You'll need to use Norstar Manager to backup an old R1T1.
