add extension via gedi

How can i add extension to exsisting phone via gedi. New to the avaya system and i am lost lol Thank

Well, I for one am totally confused by your question.

Do you mean GEDI as in "Gene Expression Dynamics Inspector"

Or do you mean "Gedi, a village near the coastal town of Malindi in Kenya"?

Either way, I have no idea how this would be able to be used in Programming the Magix or Legend.

Could you give a bit more explanation as to what you are attempting to do, inclucing the RELEASE and Type of phone system you are working on?

GEDI is the app used to program Definity and CM. Its the emulation portion. Graphically Enchanced Definity Interface. (They guy to my right tells me the acronym is correct) Wrong application for Merlin.

The location has avaya 8300 and I need to simply add an extension to an exsiting phone. I see coverage path option and way to add new phones and feature but can not get the extension XXXX on Phone ABCD
