How can I add an extension number?

SPM shows extensions stopping at 49. I woudl like to add 50 and 51. When I try to renumber to 50, I just get a beep and the systen does not accept.

I have also tried to renumber 50 to another number such as 7150, and it will not accept the 50.

Any Ideas?

Are you exceeding the extension capacity of your system? You cannot add extensions beyond 49 - if that is all the modules you have. Otherwise, you need to take an existing extension (that hopefully is not being used) and "renumber" it to 50 or 51. Or, you may need to add another telephone extension module to the system to increase available extensions. My guess is - you may have a voicemail system as your last system module - which would use up extensions 49 thru 60 - that you cannot access.

That led me in the right direction. I changed the extension to a number above 60 and all is well now.

Thanks
