Good Morning,

(SV9500 and UM8700)

I was asked to build a new Call Tree using a departments main line. After the fact I was told they also have an ACD that uses a different phone number. Is there a way, without tearing down and rebuilding their ACD, to send the DID for their ACD straight to the call tree and then point option 3 in the Call Processor to their ACD?

Thank you,

Rob

You make dial option 3 a blind transfer to the ACD Pilot number.

Good Morning DoubleDriveLine,

That part definitely works, however, the problem I'm have is that callers use a different number to access the ACD. This department has a main line that I'm now sending to a Call Tree but they also have a separate number for an ACD that's used by a smaller group within this department. I've been informed that changing the phone number for this ACD is not an option. So my question is, is there a way to point the ACD Pilot number to their call tree and in the Call Processor point option three to the ACD? I tried pointing their ACD DID to their Call Tree using ACDDN but when I call it I still get their ACD instead of the call tree.

Thank you DoubleDriveLine,

Rob

Build a new pilot number, you can have more than 1 pilot number go to the split, and set it up in the call processor for option 3 , since the VM is going to do the transfer it does not matter what the number is the caller is just pressing 3.

I have to ask this question but is this system in a Fusion Network?

Yes we have two SV9500's and a third virtual SV9500 all in a Fusion Network.

The answer is still the same.

The ACD group has their DID number which is translated to an extension by ACDD/L/N or translated to the pilot number. If it is translated to an extension the extension is then call forward all to the Pilot number.

Alternately the DID might not be translated but just rings automatically to the last 4 digits of the DID number. That could be the Extension or the Pilot number.

Either way figure out how the call comes in and put the Pilot number of the ACD into the Call Processor of Option 3 as Blind Transfer.
