I have a windows 2003 standard edition. i log in as a local administrator to that system.
My problem is that when i try to add new users i could see only the local users and i couldn't see any domain users. I was able to do that 15 days back. But when i checked today i couldn't.
I am still able to map drives of another computer using the domain user names and passwords.

Appreciate a quck help on this

Thanks

Generally there are no 'Domain Users' listed on a server or computer (on an AD server there are no users listed at all).

What you will see is domain user accounts and groups listed as memebers of local groups.

For instance if you wanted to add the user JSchmoe from FAKEDOMAIN to the local administrators group you would expand the administrator group and then add a user.

You could then select the FAKEDOMAIN and JSchmoe account and add it to the group.

Thanks for the quick response
Before when i want to add a user i click on add new user and i could choose either from my local machine or from the domain. Now i am only seeing my local machine and i could add only that local users.
I dont know how it suddenly dissapeared.
Appreciate a quick response.

Thanks
