Add default directories into doclib (SPS)

Hello everyone,

is it possible, to add default directories into a document library of SharePoint Portal Server?

I created a custom Site Definition and I want to be the included DocLib prepopulated from startup...

I guess ONET.XML is the right place for these modifications. But the questions is, where an how!!!

Hi heiko,

I only use WSS, but i think SPS has the same functions. Just make a site add the folders to your documnet library and select save as template with content form you site settings menu. And when you create a newe site select that template.

Hey Chaser.

Good idea ... basically.

Unfortunately, you cant create a site or list Template of an existing site in SPS, which really sucks...
