Add and Remove Programs - Log

I found one of my user's machines with the AV no longer installed. No program, reg entries or residual program folders.

Is there a log that shows what and when a program has been uninstalled?

They are WinXP SP2.

Maybe you can get some clues from the Event Viewer, such as when the AV Service stopped running, I don't think MSI Installer events mention uninstalls only installing events, could be wrong there however.

Try setting up a logfile to see what is going on with your installs, these are more after the fact solutions.
