Add and display user defined messages

Hi all,

Is there a way to add and display user defined messages to report and query studio?

Example: I created a report that prompts a user for data. The user enters the data and runs the report. If the data is found I want the report to display the result set. If the data is not found I want to display "data Not Found".

Is this possible?
