Do you want these web servers to be accessible from outside the LAN? If so, you can:
[ul]
[li]Run both web sites from a single server (apache supports 'virtual server')[/li]
[li]use seperate ports. http normally uses port 80, but you could use something else.[/li]
[li]use a product called octagate: all web requests go to a machine running octagate and it chooses which web server to forward the request to based on the URL.[/li]
[/ul]

It depends on your router. The average home/small office router doesn't usually support multiple IPs. A decent Cisco router will do the trick.

You may not be able to attach another router: DSL won't support this and whilst cable technology could, most companies generally don't. The best solution is to upgrade to a router which does support multiple IPs.

You should also check if you can get another IP from the ISP; not all will do this.

<marc> i wonder what will happen if i press this...[ul][li]please tell us if our suggestion has helped[/li][li]need some help? faq581-3339[/li][/ul]

That was really helpfull, thanks for the reply,
one question though,, is there any other free software that will do what "Octagate" will do (i'm tring to minimize the cost)

but Octagate solution is exactly what i wanted
