I have a user who already has an extension (an H323 extension) that redirects calls to their home phone since they work from home (ie: if someone in the office dials 222, it connects to their home phone). In the 'User' panel for this user, it points to this extension and on the 'Forwarding' tab, the forwarding numbers are set to their home telephone number in this format: 911112223333 {9 to dial out, 1+ area code (111) then the 7-digit number (222-3333)}.

There is a different extension we must assign to this person that also needs to do the same thing. However, when I try to set that up, it does not work. I created a new H323 extension, configured it (set the extension as one that does not exist on the list of extensions), and set up the 'User' page the same way as the one that works (all tabs) only under a new name, clicked 'Ok' and merged the configs to IP Office, but now when I dial that new extension, I get a message that says, "We're sorry. Your call cannot be completed at this time. Please hang up and try your call again later."

Is this an IP Office issue? The telephone number is entered the same way in the other so I would assume that the format of the number entered is not the problem. How can I get this to work?

I just got it to work. I had to change an entry on the SIP tab for the user - it showed the extension rather than the source telephone number (our main number). Once I changed it to that the call went through.
