add AD users to a alphabetical group

Any one got any ideas on how to create a script that sorts users alphabetically based on the first letter of their username and moves them into corresponding global groups

Hi bgfs, why do you want to do this? do you want to move users into a distribution or a security group.

Just wondering if query-based distribution groups would be any good for you?
