Word 2003. VBA.

In my head this seems like this should be easily doable, but when I went to actually do it (manually or in vba) I just couldn't see how.

I open a document and want to add another document with very different formatting after the end of the first one; just kind of tack on the second document and keep its own formatting. If I do a page break and insert the second document, the page margins, etc. are for the first document. Nor can I find anything like an append command.

Is there a way to do this?

Thank You

try using a section break. if you want it to start on a new page, no matter where on the page you add it, use the next page section break.

if that doesn't work, I'm not sure how else to do it.

1. "keep its own formatting". Why?

2. do these documents use Styles? I am guessing they do not.

3. however, "Is there a way to do this?" Yes. Make the Section break, make a Range of the other document, dump it into the first document with wdFormatOriginalFormatting.
