I am new to the meridian mail system. So my knowledge is somewhat limited. I have added a new users phone to our system, and it is working fine. However I don't know how to enable voicemail for that user. Can anyone help?

you need to check that CLS is set to FNA SFA HTA
FDN is set to v/mai number
Hunt set to v/mail number
these can be checked and changed in LD 20
then create a new account in meridian mail with the new extn number
Log in to your voice mail system press choice one user admin press choice one again local voice user press add user should be F7 key and fill in the blanks then hit the save key and you should be all set. hope that helps
You only have to configure hta fdn and hunt if you want the call to go to mail after a certain amount of rings. Or the user can forward their phone to mail default 7000 when they choose this ensures that the call can be answered by another member of staff and deal with the call.
