Hello all,

I have an existing word file which i would like to add a submit button, which it would send automaticaly an email to a pre-define group.

This word file is a MOP (Method of Procedure) that I'm sending to my customers and I would like to have a button named "Approved" that when they will click on it, it will send an email to acknowledged/approved the MOP. On the email it will be mention I have read and agreed with the MOP...

I think it could be done as well on PDF, but then it would require the acrobat full version. I think it can be done with Microsoft Word...

Thanks
Sylvain

Hi there,

Which version of Outlook? Why not just setup an email with voting buttons and attach the file to it and do it through Outlook?

Thanks Zack,

You have a really good point. I'm using Outlook 2003 which has the voting capability, but What is if my customer are using a different version or Lotus or any othe mail application...
This is where I think I could have an issue, as 1 of my customer is using Lotus that I'm sure the others I don't know which Outlook version the use.

I think I can't go around VB or if anybody has an idea it would be much appreciated...

Thanks,

Sylvain

Zack,

This is awesome tool, I tried it with a few PC so that I'm getting answer back, it worked.

For the programmation portion it's easy, but it would be something else to tell my group that they would have to do in order to approve the MOP... I know it's kind of easy file then send then routing back... But once this is done then the customer cannot re-open the file... This is what happened here on my other computer....

Is it normal ? If so then I really need to have another way to built this, as they need to have at least read only visibility to this document.

Thanks again for your great help.
