I need to install a second raid1 to a IBM server that is running low on hd space. They have chosen to go with an additional raid1 and then migrate data from the original raid1 to the new second raid1 array. My understanding is I
1) need a full backup of the server.
2) need to shut server down and install the hd
3) go into scsi controller and this new raid
4) reboot and set drive letter in disk manager and check raid.
5) move data

Is there any other suggestions that anyone has for this project other than a raid5 cause they decided on the dual raid1 option. Any good links for such a project would be appreciated.

Thanks
SC
