I have a G4 Quicksilver running OS X.2.4. It currently has two IDE drives, the 40 GB drive that came with, and a 120 GB drive that I added. It also has a SCSI card which I had installed when I purchased it so that I could hook up my old zip drive. My question is: Can I add a SCSI drive to my system on the internal slot of the SCSI card? Will it be recognized by the system? My concern is because I use Compaq computers at work that have SCSI and IDE built in on the motherboard, but they only recognize one or the other, not both at the same time.

Thanks for any info you can give me.

macs will use both at same time, no problem (that I ever heard of) I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.
