I have a G network setup and it working great. I've been kind of eyeing that music station that lets you play your music on computers to any home stereo. They only have .11 b out right now. I thought I heard if you connected a b device to a G network it would slow the entire network down to a B. Is this correct?

Thx!

No it does not drop the entire network to "B" data rates. There is some overhead on the G connection due to a B protection schema. Early versions of G showed a noticable throughput hit, but later driver sets and newer radio versions for G have reduced this significantly.
