add 2 fields together and display in another field

i want to be able to add 2 fields together and add the values display results in another field

So i have "Field 1", "Field 2", "Field 3"

"Field 3" = ("Field1" + "Field2")


But i want it to happen when the "on Change" event occurs


so once the value is changed in "field 1" it executes the code



i am very new to this development in lotus, and it has to be in javascript i think..................

i figured out a better way




if any of you guys or grls have any good development sites with tutorials it would be much apreciated
