add 18Gb disk to RAID5

Hi,
can I add a 18.2GB or 36GB to an smart-array configured with RAID5 with 10 disks of 9GB ?
I think it is possible but if I expand my array I can have all my new disk's capacity or only 9GB ?

The new disk will only have a capacity of 9Gb.

If it doesn't leak oil it must be empty!!
