Have I found a limitation with the Active Directory Connector that ships with Exchange 2003. We are a multi site exchange organization and are currently upgrading to Windows 2003 AD and Exchange 2003 In our test lab we have come accross a problem. When we create the connection agreement to synch up the AD with Exch 5.5 directory and vice versa we are only give the option to synch all sites and not just the site relevant to us. Obviously we do not have access to all these sites however is there a way we can just synch the single site so we can get to exchange 2003 with an existing 5.5 server. We are planning on connecting into the organization forest when the 5.5 connections are broken and this will be via meta data directoy services.

Is this something that I will have to wait until the big guys get around to the upgrade?

You should be able to sync just to your site. Check and make sure that you have the correct domain controller selected in the ADC configuration. If you used the ADC Tools try and make the connections manually. You're gonna run into a problem upgrading to Exc2K3 if you don't have schema master rights and access to the forest. Having rights to your site isn't enough. You may wanna run this stuff by your Engineers before you spend anymore time....
