Hi,

We have a Dell 122T Powervault that we need connecting to a server we have bought. We used to run it off an Adaptec 39160, however we need a replacement. I've seen some Adaptec 19160 cards going for a decnt price and was wondering whether this would be compatible with the drive? Im not too clued up on SCSI controllers.

Cheers in advance for any help!

According to Dell specs on the 122T, you just need a wide lvd controller. Both 39160 and 19160 are LVD (low voltage differential). So, either should work for your device.

When it comes to SCSI or tape backup drives I trust the guys at
They will tell you what will work and support it if it doesn't. Low prices too.
