OK, this is the issue, I have an Adaptec 2940AU card and when I boot the server (Desktop with 2K server) it hangs on the SCSI bios loader, if I remove the device or make any changes to the Adaptec in the SCSI bios, it will boot fine (once), then when I go in to Veritas Back-up Exec, it cannot find the device - am I missing something here with the Adaptec card, or could it be a bad SCSI cable, hence the reason it hangs during boot?
