Dear All,
I have an Old Dell Power Edge 2600 that was connected to a Dell Tape Drive

Model: Dell PowerVault (IBM) LTO3-060
ID: Ultrium-HH3
Type: LTO3-060

connected via Adaptec SCSI Card 39160/3960D - Ultra 160 SCSI (that came with the Server) serving as backup.

This Server has reached its end of life and we would like to re-purpose the backup to an HP DL380.

My question is can this card be re-used or do we need to purchase another card if so could anyone advise on which kind of Card to purchase.

What generation is the 380?

If it doesn't leak oil it must be empty!!

I apologize for the wrong information, the server is a HP Proliant DL360 G4

Thank you for your understanding

Assuming the server has an available PCI-x slot then it should be OK.
