Adaptec Raid Card

Hi, I have a X225. I am trying to install a Adaptec 2100s raid controller but I get " pcidevice error: bist failure ".
I tried the same card in a different computer, it worked fine. Can't find anything on the web. Thanks in advance.

You must install the Adaptec adapter adapter in the 32-bit PCI slot 1. Slot 2 through 5 are PCI-X 64 bit slots.

Hi Larry,
I tried that, but during the bootup, right after the on board scsi is detected, I get the BIST Error for the 2100s.
Any idea?

The BIST is the built in self test failing.
Do you have the latest BIOS for the 225 and the adapter?
