I have been trying without any sucess to get this card to load in netware 3 :(

I have installed nwpa support and updated clib etc but i cannot get the ADPU320.HAM to load, it just says Module not Initalized.

Has anyone had any sucess with this one.. If so what config, patches and driver version are being used, please help my its sooooo doing my head in.

Thanks in advance

Maybe you have to give it a slot number. Do you get any other errors (Like Public Symbol Errors) or anything?

I have tried loading version 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 of the

ADPU320.HAM

Version 3 have no 4.x support at all, so yes get public symbol errors, version 1 and 2 just say "Module Initalized Failed".

If i define a slot number i get,

'slot' invalid option {C04020AA}

Dispite the readme of all the drivers stating u can use it, :(

I got desperate and tried ADPT160m.HAM ver14.00 got the same thing :(

Gonna end up using 4.2 here but i really do not want to.

Can anyone please offer any assistance

Thanks in advance

I would opt for using the ones that give you public symbol errors. The errors just mean that you probably don't have all the modules necessary (or the right version) to support the driver. If I recall correctly, there is more that you need to install than just the NWPA and CLIB. Can I assume you've put the 312PTD patch in? WHat about the CLIBAUX? and maybe the updated loader..

OK, Driver 3.00m gives the following Public Symbol Errors.

NPA_Inc
NPA_Dec
NPA_SpinLockInit
NPA_SpinLock
NPA_SpinUnlock
NPA_SpinLockDisable
NPA_SpinUnlockRestore
NPA_MutexAlloc
NPA_MutexFree
NPA_MutexLock
NPA_MutexUnlock

At a guess my nwpa.nlm is out of date, its version 2.34a

312ptd ,
dig33,
lib312d
312y2kp2
clibaux1
ttsy2k
ldr312ft
and nwpaup1a

Any ideas :(

The public symbol NPA_SpinUnlock is exported by NWPA.NLM (v2.37).

Module Name: NWPA.NLM
Description: NetWare 3.12/4.x NetWare Peripheral Architecture
NLM : NBI Aware.
Version: 2.37 (2000/06/05)
...
Exported Symbols: 113
CODE:00010266 = NPA_SpinUnlockRestore
CODE:00010280 = NPA_SpinTryLockDisable
CODE:00010240 = NPA_SpinLockDisable
CODE:00010202 = NPA_SpinUnlock
CODE:00010220 = NPA_SpinTryLock
CODE:000101E0 = NPA_SpinLock
CODE:000101C0 = NPA_SpinLockInit
...

Get NWPA 2.37 from my site: from the ideata.zip file. (It also contains the "latest" NBI, NBI31X, NWPALOAD etc. NLMs for 3.12/4.x.
