We are looking at using Star Office 6.0 as our office suite and have no idea about ADABAS.
I have had very confusing messages from various sources which have added to the mix.
Can someone pls answer the following questions :-
1. What is the prefered machine spec for a Windows NT install of ADABAS?

2. Is there a server and client version install for ADABAS ?
3. How do you install ADABAS on an NT server if there is no difand can it be installed on a server already running MS SQL.
4. Are there any sites on the web which could have the answers to the above questions

Cheers

Hugh

One other quick question about ADABAS. Is there a DB user interface specifically for ADABAS, or do we still have to use the like of MS ACCESS to format input forms and reports etc

Yup, you guessed it. Dig out your favorite developement tools to create anything useful.

Looks like the full ADABAS application has a number of tools available for it. Particularly look at Add-ons for ADABAS.

Hope this helps
