AD8 Backup/Restore

Hi all;

Anyone had any experience with backing up an AD8. Have one that is soon to bite the dust (the drive is grinding to a slow halt). Trying the old DOS based cosession way, and it looks like taking forever.

Have tried to copy the files directly off the old HD, and copy onto new HD, but no luck.

Anyone ever tried to copy the files this way, and if so, which ones in particular.
