If you keep it at serial integration, then the MCI set up is the same as it was. AVST documents list the commands.
5 rings to answer is a bit long. That usually occurs when MCI integration is not functioning. I have found that following the installation steps and migration steps in the AVST documents works. You may need to look into dialogic board driver updates. Especially if you reused old boards.
