Hi, I have a list of AD users and groups and can successfully return a list of all groups and some users via LDAP (ASP.NET). Although all users are in AD only some of them are returned. Anyone know why some users can be returned and some aren't. The LDAP filter being used is just (&(objectClass=user))

Just a guess but you are probably reaching the admin limits configured in AD. The limits (usually size and time) are there to improve performance to LDAP queries. You need to specify a client side page to allow the query to complete, change the AD constraint through the ntdsutil (not recommended), or change your filter to limit the results a bit.

Option 1 is your best bet - as AD complies with RFC 2696 which sets out to define Simple Page Control.
