I am running a file server on a SuSE 9 box with Samba 3 installed. I have gotten my server to join my Active Directory domain and I can see shares from my windows servers on my linux server. I want to now move my network's home directories from the windows box to the linux box. How do I setup the linux box to authenticate users once they have logged into the Windows Domain to be able to access the shares on the linux box? Do I need to manually create linux machine accounts that match the AD accounts?
