We have a Central Site(Pa) as well as 15 Secondary Sites(All over the US). We do have an AD environment that is set up per location (ie....New York has a NY OU, Boston has a BO OU). What is the best way to use the AD Discovery Method?

A. Enable the Central Site to discover the whole AD tree and disabling all 2ndary sites Discovery methods?

B. Enable the Central Site with AD container set to local OU, and all 2ndary Sites AD container set to their local OU's?

C. Enable the Central Site with AD container set to discover the whole AD tree, and all 2ndary Sites AD container set to their local OU?

I would appreciate some direction on this.
thank you

I am not sure if this is the correct way but at my company we do A.

I can see "A" working. I would imagine that as long as all containers fall under the root in AD, I don't see why scenario "A" wouldn't work.

Anybody else have a suggestion or reason for a certain way to set up discovery in an AD environment?

Our office AD layout is like this
-companyname_inc.com (root of AD)
-office a
-office b
-office c
