AD Replication

I'm having some issues with replication with my DC's and was wondering if anyone knows of any good articles regarding this. Is there any issues/problems with having some DC's set to automatically generate and others set to manual. AD was set up prior to my joining this organization and I'm not sure if there were specific reason or a need for this to be done. Any help as always is greatly appreciated. Thanks all!!

I have found this site to be an EXCELLENT resource for most issues with AD.

AD replication relies heavily on links and connectivity, so it's important to configure things correctly. Use automatic settings for LAN links (intra-site) and manual or scheduled settings for slower inter-site (WAN, dial up, etc) links.
