Ad macAddress

Okay, I have linked the MAcAddress to the user object, ny modiofying the Ad schema. I can add a vslue but I can't read the value from AD.

Any Ideas?

what type of attribute have you added to the schema to hold this info?

never mind I figured it. its a ia5 field, i could the info in but couldn't get the info back out using ldap lookup. I ended up extecnding the schema and creating my own mac address for our IP phones.
