AD locking ALL accounts

I came into work today to find that 90% of my users have been locked out. I have been searching the net to see if anyone else has had this problem and they have but no one seems to know why? It look like someone is trying to login as the user and guessing the password and on my network after 3 attempts it locks the account. I have checked event logs but have found no trace...

Any help would be greatly appreciated on this.

Have you enabled the correct amount of logging? i.e failed attempts?

Do you make the suers change their passwords after X amount of days? It could be that they have not done so and server has locked them out.

I have Win2K with IIS 5.0 installe. It was working fine however now I am getting the following error.

Failed~8007007e

any ideas on a solution
