AD installation causing problems to existing Crystal servers???

Please help!!!

Our network administrator installed Active directory(AD). The installing of the AD caused the name of the crystal server to be changed from "Crystal01" to Crysal01.domainame This caused problems on the existing crystal servers(Crystal Enterprise 9.0), The servers (page, frs, job, wcs) were running but did not register with the name server. The event log showed the following messages

"Failed to register with the nameserver: Please check for name duplication and validness of name used:Input.Crystal01"

"Failed to register with the nameserver: Reason: The servername being registered is invalid. There might be another server of this type registered using the same friendly name".

Is there any setting that should be changed in the the CE to make the services to run successfully. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
