Ad hoc conferences on BCM 4.0

Does anyone have more info. on the BCM 4.0 ad hoc conference capabilities ? How does it work ? Is it just for dialing out to multiple people (more than 2 outside), or can you also set up an inbound conference call (bridge ?)

Conf is for internal and external. Not for incoming auto conf.
