Hi.

Is anyone familiar with Ad-aware??? It scans your system for spyware...

Everytime I scan my system, the following regkey came up to be a spyware...

type: regkey system: alexa
hkey_local_machine\software\microsoft\ie\extensions\{c93fe080-8f5d-11d2-a2ob-00aa003cb7a}

why is this ie regkey a spyware?

I went to the microsoft support site and i can't find anything about the alexa system. anyone has any idea what this is aboout?

Alexa comes with Internet Explorer. Everytime you do a repair on IE it is re-installed. If you upgrade to a later version of IE, it is re-installed. It is just another spyware snooping on your web habits. Let Ad-Aware remove it and forget about it. "A little knowledge is a dangerous thing....."
