Ad-Aware is one of the premiere spyware removal packages, highly rated on this site and elsewhere on the internet.

You may be confusing it with "Ad-ware" which is software that requires adverts to work, sometimes by using software that Ad-Aware (or other packages) would pick up.

Adaware 6 is not their current product however, I find Adaware SE (currently at 1.05) to be a better product, still free.

maybe you meant adware. cuz ad aware is a software used to eliminate adwares.

Similar problems arise with Spy-Bot: Search and Destroy which hunts down spy bots (a.k.a. spy ware and ad ware).
