Actuate7 + IDAPI + C# + .ROIs = PDFs

We have in-house an vintage Actuate 7 server with hundreds of .rois which we need to off-load and pdf seems to be the desired output format. I am looking at using IDAPI and c# but running into issues wiring current .net (ver 4 or later) with vintage IDAPI from Actuate V7. Getting reflection-related errors. Anyone have experience with this? or can point me to a canned ready-to-use solution?
