I'm trying to change the default webserver root from Novonyx/suitespot/https-SERVER to another volume and directory. But I can't seem to find the config file to make that change, and the webmanager doesn't allow it. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

Hey Dom,

If I recall, if you start up the netscape web server manage, there is suppose to be an option to change directory paths. Now, I will go look in my books again and see just where that may be, and if I can recall it, I will send it on.

So your playing with NW6, how's it coming along?

I have yet to install mine on my home server, too lazy (actually not enough time in a day) to get it installed, but do plan on doing so shortly.

Drop me a line when you can..

Hey Mark,
Good to hear from you. Well slowly by surely we have whittled away most of our problems on the network. We have 1 groupwise issue (and NDS) that needs to be taken care of but that's scheduled for Friday. NW 6 is pretty nice so far. We're running NW5.1 and 4.11 still, so NW 6 is just a toy for now. It's running Apache as it's web server, instead of Netscapes, well kind of. NW Enterprise Web Services looks like it's controlling http services, I haven't really figured out how Apache is playing a role. I have it up and running on our network in it's own tree. The Apache seems to be somewhat different than Linux's version, but not too much so. I've been doing alot of testing with both linux and NW6. The NW6 box seems to have some bug, could be my hardware though, it's a clone server. Just stops communicating everyonce in a while and I have to reboot it. Nothing in the error logs.
I've got a great resourse for you if your interested, it's NUI's DVD they just released, 3+ gig of tutorials, software, Laura Chappell articles, magazines (Novell Connection and AppNotes-all/most issues), white papers and great references. I'll get you the site address and you can run it from the web. It's on the NW 6 server, Along with Netware Files CD of programs for NW. Information overload....lol. I've really been getting quite involved in network security. We've had a couple of issues, but I've been able to snuff them out. Talk to you soon.
