Has anyone managed to run Activity Reporter on Windows 7? I've tried 2 different PCs without success. The software does install but does not open when launched. It opens Internet Exporer but gives a 404. I have installed it in XP and it works fine, but does not work ni W7 even in compatibility mode. I've tried compatibility with XP service pack 2 and 3 and Vista service pack 2.

If anyone has any ideas I would be very grateful. I want to install this for a customer but it won't be any good on XP.

Win7 is not supported.

Try using XP Mode software on the Win7 available at Microsoft or install VirtualBox with XP as a Virtual Machine.

Hi Curlycord. I tried XP mode the other day but it didn't work. However, I've just tried it again as you have suggested it and for some reason it is now displaying the logon screen which it didn't do before!!?? Anyway, problem solved, thanks for taking the trouble to get back to me.

I just looked into this further, perhaps an old or wrong doc I read earlier (or CDR Client) but it seems on my BCM50 R6 with latest patches the following is required:

IMPORTANT:

In order to maximize the performance of Activity Reporter, customers should install the software on a computer that satisfies the following minimum requirements:

Recommended Operating System(s):
Windows XP Professional SP3
Windows Vista Business, Ultimate, Enterprise SP2 32/64 bit
Windows Server 2003 Standard and Enterprise SP2
Windows Server 2008 Standard and Enterprise SP2
Windows Small Business Server R2
Windows 7 Professional, Ultimate, Enterprise 32/64 bit
Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise 64 bit
Windows 8, Professional, Enterprise 32/64 bit

Recommended Browser:
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.x (or later)

Recommended Minimum Hardware:
Pentium III processor
256 MB RAM

--

I have Win 7 Ultimate 64 BIT
I tried to load it but I get "web page cannot be displayed" and address at the end changes to /nobrow.html

Seems to hint that it cannot find a browser. My IE is version 11.
And same it works on XP Mode.
