We have an option 81C Rel 25.40 and symposium 4.2, all is well, and now they want activity codes. I have read the archieves and cannot find an answer, though there are a few examples presented. So here goes: I have created the activity codes in symposium, added the ACNT key to the agent phones, changed NRAC = Yes in Ld 23(though I think this is for Not Ready Activity Codes), now the ACNT key flashes, but you cannot do anything with it, if we press the key and then try and enter an activity code the caller hears the key tones and nothing happens on the set, activity key just keeps flashing. I have de-acquired and re-acquired the set etc., but nothing seems to work any enlightenment anyone can provide would be appreciated.

thanks

T1

During a call the agent should press the ACNT key, insert the account code and press the ACNT key again to register this code.
After a call the agent can press the ACNT key in the break time the account code will be registered as Post Call Processing Time. Pressing the ACNT key will release the state of the activity.
When pressing the ACNT key outside the breaktime the account code will be registered as Not Ready Reason Code. Pressing the ACNT key will release the state of the activity.

I think...

Thanks Supernn, I follow where you are coming from, we have the flashing ACNT key, but when we press it, nothing happens, caller hears tones from the keys being pressed. Any further thoughts?

I thought you could disable the key tones while pressing, so the caller doesn't hear it, I'm lost in how to do it though.
The rest can be reported from within Symposium Client.
That doesn't work for you?

Got it working, found that I had to build an SCB block in LD 23, and also change DCUS - 1 in LD 17, works like a charm now. Thanks for all the input.

What's a SCB block and how do you build it, and where is the DCUS setting

t1techcole,
have you resolved your problem with the ACNT key not working? And did you do what was suggested by building an SCB block in LD 23, and also change DCUS - 1 in LD 17?
