I am a newbie to Veritas.
I am running version8.6, and am having problems with running any activities. Anything I try to run on a tape in the device (e.g. inventory, erase, catalog) just seems to get queued in the Activity Monitor without actually running. When I double click on the activity, it says I am unable to access the job log and the Job log file size is 'Unknown'. If I right-click on the activity, and cancel it, nothing happens and in order to clear the activity Monitor I have to reboot the machine (Windows 2000).
Is there some kind of service not running or similar?
