Everytime I open a help menu in microsoft software (ex. Outlook, Word etc), I get a dialog box warning that states, "This page provides potentially unsafe information to an ActiveX control. Your current security settings prohibit running controls in this manner. As a result, this page may not display correctly."

In Internet Explorer I went to Tools > Internet Options > Security, and changed all my settings to enable basically everthing possible - so I basically allowed all controls (ie ActiveX) to be able to run.... but I still get the warning message (yes - i rebooted after i made changes).

I running NT4 sp6a - plenty HDD space and RAM.. I can't figure this one out so any advice/ideas would be appreciated

Hello !

I had a problem under win2000 which looks quite similar to me, but maybe it´s no solution. But give it a try. Check if you have acrobat reader installed, if not, I think version 4.x must work. You can download it free from the homepage. It seems that it installs activeX components that the system needs. So I hope it works !

Greetings

Also, it is a good practice to run Windows Update from the IE4+ screen, and install all the critical updates it suggests. I had an extremely good luck with IE5.5 and Internet Tools package; seems like IE even speeds up a bit - I am instaling on all the new boxes I lay my hands on...:)
