Hi, my name is Fernando. I'm in deep trouble here.

I was surfing the web. Accidentally, I think I downloaded something I shouldn't, I think it was one of those dirty site dialers that just pop up on you. ;p
Now, whenever I want to use my computer, i.e. to click on My PC and then click on Program Files and then any program or any other kind of folder etc., everytime I have to open a folder (ANY FOLDER!), I get this message on the screen (a little grey window with a security icon: a lock and a key and a question symbol): It reads something like this:

An ActiveX control/driver from this page might not be safe while interacting with other parts of the page. Do you wish to allow this interaction?

Nothin really happens weather you click either yes or no.
And then it might appear another box with another similar message.
I DON'T KNOW how to FIX IT UP. I would apreciate very much anyone out there giving me a little HELP. I think it could be a I.Explorer Security issue or ActiveX Configuration. Maybe it happened when I downloaded this chat dialer. You tell me. PLEASE, HELP ME.

Thanx in advance
Fernando

HEy i have the exact same problem. I figured out you can avoid it if you go to a folder, select tools and then folder options, and click on use classic windows. Now this stops the stupid message from coming up , but then the folders just function as the old ones and you can't preview files on them. I don't know how to actually get the message to stop coming up if you enable web content in folders though. Any help would be nice.

Have you checked your security settings in IE? You may have said you want to be notified about ActiveX Controls even on your own machine.
